The Scout Association are the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6- to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.
Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.
At Borehamwood United Synagogue, we offer Beavers (6-8), Cub Scouts (8-10 1/2) and Scouts (10-14). There are Jewish Explorer Scouts (14-18) and Scout Networks (18-25) in nearby parts of North West London and we welcome their members as Young Leaders (14-17) in all three of our sections to learn leadership skills.
All our sections meet on Monday evenings with Beavers starting at 5.30pm and the Cubs and Scouts meeting at 7-8.30pm.If you are aged over 18 and are available in the very early evening, we would love to welcome new Adult Leaders to help with our Beaver Scout section
